View Full Version : Apologies for the football talk but Schweini and Schneidi are an excellent midfield

then it doesn't look all that frightening. And they've let van Persie and Falcao go, so they only have Rooney, Hernandez (who seems to be leaving too), and maybe Depay to play up front. Di Maria is hopefully going to Paris.

So unless they buy Otamendi and Lacazette/Cavani, I think we'll run 'em close.

*I rate him

West London, by contrast, is moribund.

I miss South London.

They have done well but then so have we (Cech).

Plenty more to be done before we throw in the towel.

It'll be a big blow to lose those two magnificent heads of hair :-(

Olivier, though, I would be very unhappy to lose. :-(

It's still a bit disappointing we didn't get Schneiderlin though. As it stands, we're relying heavily on Coq to be as good as last season for 40-50 games. If he doesn't, then we're looking at the same kind of midfield balance we saw in the first half of last season. Oh dear.

He's already told Real he wants out, hasn't he? I hear that they've offered him the captaincy - is this true?

So on that basis I suspect De Gea will leave and Ramos will get a new contract.

They'll probably try for Loris and if not get that Cilisen bloke from Ajax.

Strange rumblings seem to have Sanogo going to Ajax on loan too.

or at least someone with half a brain at United will have thought of this. Already pissed him off over Falcao

I was referring more to upsetting a player by dropping him from the first 11 selection which is very different to keeping a player at the club despite his desire to leave. A lot can depend on the character of the player, Schneiderlinn last summer for example when he was denied a move by Southampton came out of the whole episode with his reputation greatly enhanced and an even better move than was perhaps available last summer.

As Jorge has pointed out Madrid have now allowed Casillas to leave so something is happening there. Who knows what is going on in the background.

25 million plus for an injury prone 31 year old. OK money aside, he's got maybe 1 year in him at a good level and hopefully he'll waste that acclimating to the PL.

Schniederlin is good, no question.

Let's just hope they can't fix that back four muahahaha.
