Lee Cattermole preferably.

debt crippled Arsenal.

He does fit in with the shiny, new, loadsafaaakingmahhhney Arsenal.

While this is not Arteta's fault, he is old news now. The same goes for Flamini (though I understand Mesut would be awfully upset were he to leave, so perhaps he can stay).

I assume you'd like some competition for Coqulein. Schneiderlin is off to United as we seemingly don't want him. Who else is there?

But then I am not sure he has ever really played a season where he would be called upon to play most weeks.

Perhaps he did last season, no idea how often he would have started at Charlton.

but this is football. What, realistically, are we expecting him to contribute this season?

argue that it was his idea to go through a period of austerity while keeping the club at the highest level so that we could reap the benefits once we had completed that period.

Arteta, unfortunately, cannot morph into Paul Pogba and is therefore surplus to requirements. In fact, it causes embarrassment at trophy lifting times when a player that isn't good enough to start gets to lift the trophy first.

While one could argue that his career to date has been limited, in the absence of any actual evidence one must assume his general fitness to be sound.

Jake

And rather him than Flamini.

What's wrong with Cattermole?

He's rugged and tenacious.

This is how it will pan out.

They will have already bid and we will have turned them away. Then the summer will drag on and Cazorla himself will express a desire to speak with them as he is Spanish after all and it would be a great move. Who could blame him really.

They now have money to burn and we have a resourcing issue, albeit a lovely one, though crucially an ageing player one year from being free who is still highly marketable but open to a move home.

Then we agree, and sell.

Some or all of the above may not happen.

I'd still sign him though, just so we'd have a player in the squad known as "Catsmeat".

Peter

After the season coquelin has just had.

You have to ask whether we meed to sign a big money striker as well. Where would it leave walcott?

You could mount a serious argument thst we dont actually need to sign anyone else now.

Ben.

That's why Luiz is the best defender on the game, somehow.
Small, fast, dribbley players are the best, I recommend Maxi Moralez and Giovinco especially, great fun.

You know, transfer strategy etc.

Ben.
07-07-2015, 11:27 AM
but I would argue the difference Coquelin has made should have pointed out how important it is that we get a viable alternative.
One awkward twist and we're back to f*cking Flamini again.

Jake
07-07-2015, 11:27 AM
I just remembered we've got plucky young Jack fit now, and also wee Aaron who won't even have to play out on the right if all is well.

We've got a f**king skipload of the central buggers.

Shad needs to work some magic asap.

Coquelin, Arteta, Flamini.

Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, Ox, (Tomas).

Fair few names and Jack could arguably be in that deeper, upper bracket.

Inevitably we won't sign anyone and will miss someone more regimented, though.

striker, i don't really give a f**k about Walcott tbh. I'd still have him down as an option for the right side and if he doesn't like it he can f**k off. Let's not forget he scored 20+ goals in a season playing there.

We’ve dipped our toes in that pool and then we have come back and done a run and dive-bomb into the middle of said pool.

Perish the thought of now going back to being small time cheap charlies.

If not in the fabled DM position we need to spend big, it is now expected I am afraid.

p.s. can’t see where it is happening myself. Even less likely up top I would have thought.

Jack, Ramsey, Cazorla, Arteta, Flamini but they all need someone like Coquelin alongside them, anything happens to him and we go back to being the ill-disciplined, weak as piss, rabble again imo.
Plus Jack is better further forward imo, he takes too many risks.

I was thinking maybe someone 10-15m who wouldn't necessarily displace Coquelin but provide a decent alternative.
Schneiderlin seems so obvious but we obviously don't fancy him, for whatever reason.

Peter
07-07-2015, 11:37 AM
That would expect to be first choice. You dont pay 25 million for a midfielder and then not play him.

For the record, i think we could improve on coquelin but also think he deserves a season. If we were intending to buy then i cant see why we have signed srteta again.

moose/deer skin and live normal lives. Fair enough if they want to live in the wilderness, but to make yourself live without electricity or water is just weird. I told my girlfriends parents about it and they laughed for a good while. The locals in Jamtland must think they're f**king idiots.

need to have been paying it for 12 months (12 months of employment) before they give you anything back (usually 80% of your salaray for 300 days).

The lad in Belize had me scratching my head a little but the Welsh brushed him aside with considerable ease.

If they wanted to live a simple life off the grid they could have gone remote in Wales and still had access to basics, also his kids which let us remind ourselves were the most important thing in the world.

No, he f**ks off to the North Pole where he eats ****, does not even have running water and can’t remember when he last washed. Dirty welsh *******.

Then he builds a f**king sauna. c**t.

if we wanted someone Schneiderlin was there for the taking.
Still not convinced about Jack in that 'Pirlo role' you need a good tactical understanding, which is why Gerrard was so bad there.

managed to squeeze herself under a neighbours deck area. We tried to get her to come out for about 2 hours but she wouldn't and eventually came back during the night. Seems to be walking and jumping around fine and no blood in her poop or urine. She's a little sensitive when you touch her in a certain spot just above her back leg but the vet said it's probably some bruising from the bit and we should monitor it for now.

The bitch who was walking said dog didn't even apologise. Although she didn't see when i booted her dog after chasing it (it went after the cat when it got free and was sniffing around the neighbours deck) :****er: We called the police so hopefully they put the c**t down. And the owner as well.
