Mostly as they've just offered me a massive job to design a bunch of their strategies.

Nye Bevan, you're my hero :cloud9:

It'd be taking valuable resources away from front line delivery. That's how NHS budgets work, isnt it? :hehe:

Seriously though, I'd be mad to. It's return business and they loved the last lot that we did for them at a very decent price.

too much money swilling around inside that organisation, and far too many bloated civil servants idling their meaningless lives away.

You know how these things a prone to over complication, we have to detangle the language and simplify some of it using clever design.

That seems to be the latest favourite way of involving as much work as possible in the communication of simple ideas.

One is perhaps a visual representation of structure or hierarchy, the other is a plan or direction.

I'm no accountant but I'll wager that has involved significantly more waste, though obviously this job is a crucial part of ensuring the whole thing is delivered.

Good luck to you and your business, nice public sector contract. The issue is perhaps not you winning the tender or whatever but the need to pay external parties (huge) sums to do the work.

Thing is it happens everywhere. My brother once told me a figure for what our HSE was paying out annually to external consultancy concerns and it was genuinely mind blowing.

Just saying, organisational structure is not a strategy.

The chaps who are giving out, fellow UK taxpayers, they don't really care either. They are simply metaphorically pulling your cock because in these cases it is quite easy.

Felt and uses phrases like 'Patient Pathways' :-(

Seriously, what in the name of Christ's cock is a 'Patient Pathway'? And what manner of time-serving c**t is allowed to live having devised such a term?

money stolen from decent working people, and morons are going to have to think of creative ways to waste the money so that they can demand more the next time

I'd take advantage of it as well if I were you.

Not least because most of them voted for it to happen.

I'll not be charging huge sums, though there is a fair bit of work all the same. They came back to us because of the work we did with them last time won an award.

Of course they're going to find more and more creative ways to waste it.
