A mutual friend knew chaps from The Men They Couldn’t Hang.

We got 2 which through sleight of hand and some basis magic we managed to get 4 of us in with, then being Irish and young proceeded to do the absolute dog in the backstage free bar oblivious to whatever celebrities were in our midst. Then we were chucked out, of a music festival.

Impressive stuff.

Once we got stuck in the mud on the way out and as the non-driver we were tasked with pushing it out of the muddy bog we'd found ourselves in.

Sadly the splatters we received revealed that it wasnt normal mud but run off from the latrines.

That was a long seven hour drive.

I was quite humbled by that Chas n Dave documentary. I always had them down as wrong, and for obvious reasons, but they turned out to be genuinely interesting away from the whole "gertcha!"/gowblimeyguvnah/yearendsinone nonsense.
