it's quite varied, actually.

You can't walk very far as you have to go very, very slowly, because i) it will be about 45 degrees, and ii) you don't want to blunder into a herd of elephant or a pride of lions or, worse, an angry Cape Buffalo. So probably 10 miles a day, something like that? I feel sorry for the lads who have to carry the tents and showers and beer and so on, but, you know...
