View Full Version : Watching the news with all the migrants jumping on lorries etc last night, it was hard not to think

of the various dystopian movies where they show fake news footage of similar scenes of people escaping disease or poverty or whatever. It was really quite cool and apocalyptic. All it needed was some soldiers in NBC suits shooting at them and the picture would have been complete.

I once saw a lorry driver get out of his cab to remonstrate with the attackers, which I thought rather brave of him.

On one occasion as they swarmed around both sides of my car to reach a truck in front I wondered whether they might be tempted to break into my vehicle and almost pressed the central locking switch, but happily did not demean myself.

obvious movement to do so that would then be followed by a massive and very audible 'CLUNK!' that was bound to attract the attention of the people who are the very reason you've just done it. Design flaw imo.
