One of my few regrets from my many years in London is failure to attend a test match or even one-day international. God knows I was offered enough times.

I will soon be planning my first trip to N5 with SW Jnr, and all that day will entail, merchandise shops instead of pubs etc.

I can remember my own first ever trips down to Lansdowne to see the Ireland of Brady etc, international air travel not being as easy then as it was now.

Celtic v Dundalk at Oriel Park was another, only a wee nip down the road but back when there was a border etc, a school night also which made it super f**king cool.
