limit for roadworks but nothing going on at all. The road was completely empty so kept at 70.
Driving 50 with nobody around would just feel strange.
I am not worried about it though.

Mind you, Teeside is basically a portacabin and a stretch of tarmac and - if you're diverted there from LB they'll lay you on a coach.

The advised new limit needs to be displayed in a red circle for it to be a legal 'limit' otherwise it's just a request not to exceed the speed shown. A recommendation if you like.
