Given he was on 40odd grand a year when managing Croatia one can only hope the Gentleman's relaxtional reading material magnates deem him worthy of more wedge than a travelling salesman.

Shame there's no Bielsa though, he would instantly have made West Ham the hipster's team of choice, and in east london too.

Mind you, these people live in South London and see nothing wrong with it. As if the botfly larvae and dengue fever wasnt bad enough.

Having walked through West Ham from east to west and south to north in recent weeks it has to be said that there is very little to recommend it. At least their new ground will be a lot closer to West Ham than the current one. I walked round the Stadio Olympico on saturday - really annoying that they're getting it for free, and are being praised to the rafters for the cheap tickets they're giving away to fill it.
