past two teenage muslim girls. When they realised I was going to be sitting there, they and their big-bearded, salwar kameez-wearing father swapped places so that he would sit next to me instead. I tried not to take offence at the implication that I was some kind of pervert who couldn't be allowed in proximity to his daughters, but it rankled. This then got worse when I ordered a beer from the trolley that then had to be passed over him to me. He shrank from it as though it was electrified or something and then visibly winced when I opened it (away from him) and started pouring and drinking from it. All the while I was drinking it, he looked daggers at me. c**t.

Seriously. What the f**k? First I'm treated like some kind of sex criminal and then made to feel uncomfortable simply for drinking a f**king can of Carlsberg just because of this freak's bizarre religious hang-ups. It's not on.

The beer incident is less easy to justify. Personally whenever I eat out with kosher friends (of which, sadly, I have a few) I order pork on principle, even if there’s something else I’d prefer to eat on the menu. I'm aware that this makes me a rather pathetic and odd individual.
