Naturally, as I stood there, footsore, fuming, sweaty, greasy, next to a man with a Union Jack tattooed on to his scalp and with my last meal having been a burger in O'Leary's in Rygge airport, the knowledge that you were enjoying a glorious, sunny evening feasting on succulent, spit-roasted fowl really cheered me up. :-|

I would have been repellent to the eyes, ears and nose. My wife could only put up with me because she signed up for it.

I really hate Passport control in this country. There is simply no excuse for it being so ****. None.

I don't understand why there simply isn't a door straight out of the building marked 'UK Passport Holders'. Why must I show my passport to a low-ranking civil servant who invariably asks me where I have travelled from today? (I invariably lie.)
