in wales! amazing, no fights etc great food and venue and people..couldnt have been better to be honest..then got nicely wasted all eve.

Sicily was a great week away, 2 of nicest hotels ive stayed in to be honest and great food and weather and people etc..loved it :-)

back into office at 8.30am to resign..think MD was bit pissed off he gave me card and 100 quid for wedding before i went away :-)

now 4 weeks to new job of more money and more type of thing

life is shweeet :0) Today anyway

on hotel room tv then went out to Siracuse for food thinking id watch 2nd half in a bar..but juventus were playing so no joy. watched goals on iti tv later then whole match on sky+ laST night when home :-)

they do them a bit more deep pan type look not quite as large on circumfrence and cook them so they slightly blackened on very edge in big wood fire ovens.

i had always thoguht usa /new york ones ( based on sicilian ones) inferior but if made well then I can see there benefit..tasty bread, texture and also dont get so floppy or wet base in centre etc

I am going to Abruzzo. Feels like 2nd home now. the Pizzas must be the best part of it. There is one place that does the small wons I will order a **** load of them.

Then to Northern Italy in October.

I can't get enough of this Italian food. I never thought I would say that :hehe:

a) it's dodgy
b) people in cafe's are rude
c) you buy a coffee but you can't sit down unless you pay more
d) constant hassle buy tramps etc.

tbh just a little bit of greek in the mix seems to have done wonders to them..though there driving is the worst..i loved driving out there tbh was how i usually drive but everyone does it :-)

I don't recommend staying there, however. The Grand Via Veneto is the place to lay your head.

I recommend taking the good lady to the glove shop in the Piazza Spagna, at the bottom of the Spanish Steps, where she will find the finest gloves available in all Europe.
