Heard a radio news report on the way home that suggested he might have taken his own life - so sad for such a nice bloke. Evidently his father had died recently, he of course just lost his seat (since1983) and has a drink problem, tripple whammy. And his friends had been worried about him for the past few days. Sad

The lengths people will go to to avoid responsibility, eh. Still, at least those who knew him say he was a good guy and a great father. His son must be what, ten years old now

Though I have to say the unexpected joy of my kid meant I really did straighten up and fly right. I simply didnt give one single f**k before she turned up.
