I'd like to see what Arteta can do paired with the Coq. He'll have more freedom to get forward and with his technical quality it could be deadly.

Then you have the Rammer. I'd say we might be more inclined to buy a natural wide player than a defensive central dude. Wide guys are getting pretty rare these days, though.

If we want defensive minded midfield, you know I wouldn't say it out of the question that Gabriel could do the job in a pinch.

Of course I have no idea who is available or anything.

What about a new keeper? Is that in the cards, Monts?

Honestly, this could be the one summer we do nothing, as long as we don't lose anyone, and most folks would be fine with it. What a turnaround!

I don't think it would be a defensive midfield specialist anyway. Someone like Schneiderlin or Vidal could do both the role of sitting deep or box-to-box. Vidal can pretty much play anywhere in midfield and would make us a better team.

I think the one thing he wont be buying will be a defender or wide player.
