Basically this means we are still at a huge financial disadvantage and have absolutely no right to demand a title challenge.

Bugger.

you have to spend 60m on players to demand a league challenge.

money, as chelsea and City have had until FFP began to little bit bite, then you have no right to demand a challenge.

So it depends what will become of FFP. Certainly given that chelsea and City are still benefiting from their years of lavish spending, I would say we won't be within our right to "demand" anything for a fair while yet.

a disadvantage. If you don't have 60m for him just buy the fella who plays next to him for 40m who's just as good. Look at Di Maria and Sanchez. One cost almost double but the other had double the output in terms of goals and assists.

City paid 32m for Mangala and even though we've seen very little of Gabriel i'd be willing to bet he's not even half as poor as Mangala has looked.

then we are still at a huge disadvantage.

Also, there's the wages factor. If other clubs still have bigger funds, they can absorb the cost of more squad players on bigger wages.

Abramovich-style investment (gift)), but not Glazer-style (loan).

Even if it's the sovereign wealth funds of your brothers, cousins and other sheikhy mates giving you the revenue.

Pogba probably the only one out of Bale/Messi/Neymar/Suarez/Ronaldo/Pogba who will move this summer for a ridiculous amount, the sort of amount Wenger is talking about.
