if we were going to sell then I'm sure City, Chelsea or United would gladly take him

Arsenal? I think being in and around the Liverpools and Spurs of this world is Theo's destiny.

He could be the new, new Ruel Fox. :cloud9:

I think Monty would have to change condoms between courses.

Also, I cant imagine theo enjoying that, he likes his crosses to be the cum-shot variety

He cannot be happy with events of recent months.

he'll be back as a regular. Looked our best player when he came on on Wednesday

aware that we'd take it very easy with him this season

Jimbo's little Auclair anecdote made me love the man even more.

That would've been a f**king great wedding for dinner chat, less so for the partners.

You take it easy upon return, he is back 3-4 months now and is still being omitted from the starting 11 on occasions when I am quite sure he must think himself the logical option. Winning matches and he is not being afforded the 15 minutes at the end to work on sharpness or whatever.

He is fit now else he wouldn’t be on the bench.

I suspect, though obviously without proof, that his continued absence is as much a tactical reflection on him as opposed to a concern on fitness.

The issue is hugely complicated by his contract situation.

He's no worldie and can't afford to be carried. He's good at what he does, but that's a fairly limited skillset (and the game has changed a bit). I'd want to keep him but...

Keep him, but then neither you nor I are relevant or a party to the negotiations he will be having with the club.

Do agree on the contract bit, AW did it last time to him as well

I have no doubt we will keep him if we can come to a quick agreement, I do not however for a second think we will chase around after him for too long. We have other options now, coupled perhaps with a tactical concern or redirection.

20m also goes a long way to securing a replacement if we thought one was in order.

I think he would be foolish to play silly *******s and force an exit but then playing 40 matches over the season in a starring role for say Liverpool may even benefit his career in the end.

Anyway, I think he would suit their style of play very well.
They want two pacey and mobile forwards.

Flanks at the same time. Hence with sanchez on one side walcott is pretty much screwed. Ox, ramsey, cazorla, even jack are preferred to him.

I think liverpool is a good fit for him. They might even play him up front.

Given that on the more often occasions when we disagree, we both come away from the debate aware and fully accepting that ultimately I was correct.

*He's probably better than I give him credit for, but I've really never warmed up to the fellow. Yeah, I feel as if I am being unfair, but I'll wait for him to prove me wrong.
