Full day's play I hope. Looking forward to seeing this Wood bowl. We'll probably bat though 25-4 at lunch

if it goes past three days. Enjoyed the Windies tour - perfect timing for the last two sessions - just sat in a bar, which I practically had to myself most nights and enjoy four hours of cricket

It's major advantage is that it keeps hair in place, but doesn't make it look like you're wearing hair product.

Gel is f**king rank stuff.

I mean, fine, I get mayonaise and all but to put the cheap, limply flavoured manufactured **** on some pedestal whilst neglecting Salad Cream is an outrage.

See also HP sauce, whose sales are slipping by 30pc a year.

Bad year for great condiments imo

They have stopped selling it in the supermarket near me - only place in Munich that did it - apart from the "British" shop which I refuse to set foot in

Do they mind you having the cricket on in the office, LA?

If we changed the national anthem to God Save Our HP Sauce I'd get a season ticket at the proms.

lacks. I often add a spoonful to the mayonnaise for a potato salad or coleslaw just to lift it a bit. The only odd thing is the entirely synthetic texture of it.

But, to reiterate, HP sauce is pure ming.

It is a fine condiment.

Not quite as good as the discontinued

they want him there in the first place is to add a dash of native English charm to proceedings

After all, as we know, almost any German who's been to school speaks English passably well. So it can't be because of that.

I like getting it from the counter but they don't slice it very well and pack it badly.

I have to go to 2 different bloody supermarkets to get the meats I want.

morrisons don't do Parma but they have mortadella and Salami Milano.

Sainsburys have Parma and Salami Napoli

Tescos I am not sure about it's far away.

Asda no choice at all really. Just polish products it seems.
