Hayes, a father of five, had just taken up a job at the top-secret Google X office – a unit dedicated to creating world-changing advances – at the time of his death.

Interestingly, although this was one of the lead stories on The Times, I had trouble finding a link on a Guardian. When I eventually found where it was buried, I was slightly surprised by the headline using the prosaic Californian Woman jailed rather than the more SEO-tastic Prostitute (which it used on coverage of the story from the year before).

:sherlock: Almost if Google and the Guardian were playing it down

outlet like The Guardian playing it down?

Although I do notice that the BBC website also doesn't call her a prostitute. But that might just be the lefty media not wanting to '**** shame' her.

Wasn't being entirely serious, If anything I would say it is rather overplayed on The Times – not sure it is really a front-page story.

Not sure, in web terms, you can call the Guardian low-readership though – second most unique visits of any English-language newspaper website, higher than any ones in the US
