such nice places.

I might move out there. I was looking at Guildford but prices are the same as London really.

turns out I did indeed have wedding duties!

change bowler. She was OK, but she stopped us all scoring as everyone was desperate not to get out to her. :-(

The locals won't allow it. Ridicules.

I think the best score I made at Woldingham was 79.

Good result at OT,
I would like to see Walcott play,
Said the referee did a good job,
The countryside is nice,

:yikes:

52 not out, 47 overs, opened and carried my bat. Finished 160-odd for 7, a losing draw.

My favourite ever innings. I think at one point we went seven overs without scoring a run :hehe:

You gave the game away when you called it Ned Beattie

They'd packed the side with 18 year-old ringers who were belting down bouncers against our team of 14 year-olds. I decided to just dig in and refuse to declare at tea (as was customary) in order to annoy them as much as humanly possible and stop them winning.

I was looking generally yesterday at rent but the train cost doesn't make it too much different to what we are now paying in North London. Can afford it but I am trying put so much a month straight in the savings account.

The plan is not to move to rent anymore. We are sticking it away for a house deposit. Though I saw some decent rent offers for 2 bedroom houses.

My happiest moments were always the three hours of batting to simply save a game. It really is incredibly good fun and you know sir geoff would approve.

opposition is a major bonus.

I've had people refuse to shake my hand after a game because of it. Can you believe it? :hehe:

I just said i wasnt offering :-)

I suppose i was taking the piss a bit. Towards the end a spinner slipped the ball out of the top of his hand and it was a good three yards outside off stump. I calmy walked over to it and played a very deliberate forward defensive stroke. My batting partner cracked up but some of the fielders were not amused.

In my defence, they were a bunch of f**king cheats and i was thoroughly enjoying getting on their nerves.

Guildford was my stomping ground in my youth, many a good night in Cinderella's or The Drink....or Bojangles
