It was just one of those games I’m afraid, for all the possession they allowed us we simply did not really play well and any chances we had were missed. Another day, different scenario.

Chelsea aside it wasn’t entirely realistic that we were going to win every game from mid-February to season end, something like Monday night was always going to happen.

Sometimes there is a perception that we struggle with sides and managers yet perhaps the actual results or statistics do not back it up.

We remember the defeats but less so the success. Human nature I suppose.
