Saying that, there's still a chance her ex-boyfriend of 8 years might end up Prime Minister, so the danger does not end with the pro-business slightly camp-looking Dion Dublin-a-like.

Is there actually a realistic left-wing candidate, though? Surely they're all hiding?

planned "cuts" to the Access to Work scheme for disablists.

I downloaded the actual policy document and it turns out that what the DWP is proposing is to put a cap on the limit individuals can claim, so that they can distribute the allocated funds among A GREATER NUMBER of disablizers.

Nowhere in the article was this mentioned.

Newly-elected Labour MP for Leeds East, Richard Burgon, has written in the Morning Star arguing that "a lurch to the right is the worst tactic" for Labour.
He says that New Labour was responsible for the wipeout of Labour in Scotland, because it assumed Labour voters in Scotland had nowhere else to go instead focused on chasing votes from Tories in the South. He argues:
"There must be no retreat to New Labour. There must be no journey back in time to Blairism. There must be no heeding of the siren voices that have led Labour onto the rocks in Scotland. There must be a recognition that under Ed Miliband’s leadership the Labour Party shifted cautiously in a progressive direction in a way that would never have been possible under Blair’s leadership.

Dont assume it is an INCREASE

Is THAT a cut? If something was spiralling widely out of control and then has the reins pulled back? See, I can do nuance too.

And you still cant cope with the idea that this might constitute a cut? Or might look like one?

Of course they tell you t is so that more people can access the scheme. It may even be true but doesnt stop it being a cut.

God, this is boring isnt it?
