bonus that it would mean finishing above the Mancs. Even if they beat us at OT, we still have a game in hand. Hopefully the FA Cup win there will mean we play with more confidence and not be subjected to the usual sissy humiliation which we used to get even from their reserve teams.
As for tonight, everyone thought it would be so easy, huh? Cause Swansea had "nothing to play for" :hehe: They're traditionally a hard team for us to beat and made us look silly even in the early 80s, during their previous spell in the top flight. We may have underestimated them, which is unacceptable, but also a natural human reaction when things are going well.
It was rather funny seeing Ospina arguing about whether the ball was in or not. Someone must not have told him about the goal line technology. He was let down by his defence for the goal. Well taken header by Gomis, who is a very useful player, often creating space for others, while taking a hammering from defenders in the process.
Fabianski was good, but our shots weren't very testing, were they?

There was some excellent tempo from our boys in the second half and Jack came in with plenty of drive. Theo was ****, but he wssn't really on the pitch that long, so overt criticism may be a bit harsh.

We can be very predictable at times.

away. In fact when we did, it was the 2001 against Liverpool and we somehow managed to find a way of losing it.
