Still can't see him getting back in the test team

I thoroughly enjoyed watching them in Grenada a few weeks ago. Joe Root was the mutts.

Obviously, things got a bit silly once the rum started to flow.

Clear out the baggage and start again imo. We're not going to win the Ashes and will struggle to beat the Kiwis - let's use the matches to bed in a new team (what we should have done in the Caribbean) and give them time to gel.

Look at where the Aussies were a couple of years ago - a complete bloody joke. Steve Smith a test batsman - LOL. Now look at them.

with Swindon Town is seen as evidence of unsuitability to manage Manchester United. That's why every coach or manager wants to select experience and youth is basically a dirty word.

was explainable, even if, in an ideal world, He wouldn't necessarily have wished it.

Also, He's foreign. More than that, He's proudly, *incorrigibly* foreign. This means that He is able to make no bones about the fact that there are certain aspects of our game and mentality that He, frankly, believes to be nonsensical garbage.

And we accept it almost without question, in a way we wouldn't from one of our own.

Having said all that, He wouldn't have lasted five minutes in Swindon.
