he was forced to sign him before the end of the season to stop PSG getting him which he didn't like doing because it unsettles his current players

it is unusual to sign a player before the end of the season - you could argue why did they announce it?

Plus the whole pissing off PSG thing - he is basically accusing them of tapping Depay up while exonerating himself in the process.

While neither has massively contributed to this, perhaps harsh on Di Maria, they have got what they want.

They will recoup a fair bit of the transfer fee for the Argentinian and the combined wage costs are neither here nor there.

Not sure what Falcao does from here. Perhaps return to his singing career.
