View Full Version : I'm quite enjoying all this talk of people plotting to seize or retain power on Friday in the event

of a Hung Parliament. It suggests punch ups in Downing Street as people try to get in or stay put. Good stuff imo. We don't get enough of that sort of thing over here.

Oh, for a couple of years of political turmoil and social unrest. Just a couple of years, Lord, that's all I ask...

You wouldn't want to give the impression of being the sort of chap who gleefully rakes in the cash while the country tears itself apart trying to protect itself from commies and jockos, would you?

It's basically going to come down to what constitutes legitimacy and I fear it might not be the same thing as what people think.

And we go again in november

I'll honestly shed the tiniest of tears as I look down on the smoke rising from ruined cities as the jet takes me away to safety.

Honestly, consider the people of this once great country; if something like 45 per cent of the electorate are prepared to vote for one of Labour, the SNP and the Greens, there's not much left here worth saving :-(

Because if it does happen, there's a strong chance that people are going to vote heavily against whatever comes in this time around.

I see the fat f**kers waddling around town on a near daily basis, old men in baseball caps with the name of some sea vessel they perhaps sailed on 40 years ago emblazoned across the front.

These people use the word pants for trousers so their use of made up words to describe common herbs (or erbs as they may say) is of little consequence to this discussion.

Foot over a coalition with snp but have just failed to get similar momentum behind fears of a conservstive/ukip coalition.

Should have been dealt with easily, weeks ago. Poor from Ed.

UKIP are expected to win 3 seats, Lib Dems 20 odd... both getting same sort of % of the votes.

The fact over 500 of the 650 seats are considered safe, too much power is in too few voters hands imho

Pokster
05-06-2015, 01:55 PM
it is hard for Labour to bang on about that one really... the fact the Tory party have said they will have a ref' on Europe within 2 yrs takes away a lot of Farage's bargaining tools

I notice that that repository of the terminally mental The Daily Express has come out in favour of voting UKIP. :hehe:

I honestly do assume that anyone who buys that rag is just a total lunatic.

He has been excellent in some of the debates.

I just think lsbour are making too many. Istakes, just as they did five years ago. They got brown completely wrong, trying to make him look relaxed and cuddly. He isnt, he is a miserable, hard nosed ******* so that is what you sell.

Poor old ed just dont look right. He doesnt speak with authority and some of the lines they have given him are crap.

If cameron was any good at all he would have walked this election. I have been quite stunned at how useless he is. Utterly unconvincing, unappealing and completely charmless. He comes across as precisely the c**t that i know him to be, just 20% more clueless.

Labout could have won this election and they wont. Another missed opportunity.

Surely a government has to have a majority, albeit in coalition with other like minded folk??

Berni

that you will see a much stronger Tory showing than the polls currently suggest. I think most 'Don't Knows' are going to vote Tory and that could really change things pretty fundamentally.
