In my experience KPIs are generally bull**** anyway

but unfortunately it's not really working. As all the departments are different. You can't use certain basic criteria for everyone.
This is a big uproar over it.
I have my 4th and final interview later today. I don't get this I am now meeting the top brass. Who used to work for Amex and BA I am not really sure why I need to meet him but so be it.

they pull numbers out of their arses and set them as targets. They call these numbers KPIs.
I so love not being a slave to targets any more

Based around performance management and development.
I think they are *******s. Thankfully my manager agrees with me.

for reaching the targets. Only a bonus which everyone gets which is not fixed at the end of the year.
So if I potentially save the company 500 thousand or 1 million euros a year it doesn't make a difference to me. Not very motivating. The money saved does not reflect the salary very well.

Too many people however, me included, have probably been in a situation in the past where agreed targets have been met but somehow the end prize not delivered.
Sounds like a **** job (or terms of, rather). If you continually meet or exceeds your targets, you don't get sacked...

existence.
When, as we know, there is no more pointless job in any company than the HR manager.

They seem to be more concerned of people making errors than the actual targets.
They'll give you a massive headache if you make a mistake that costs the company 500 euros. but in that same week you've made 30000k they will still emphasise the error.

You know, in a way that is what your basic salary covers, an expected level of delivery.
Young people these days have too much of a sense of entitlement.

other colleagues combined I think I should get something out of that.
Plus they are not even not Awimb all day.
they should cut your balls off for losing 500 euros due to your error.
that's proper HR, that is...

hotels for example.
I will negotiate to place this business at hotels at cheaper than those rates. Either a) we make more money b) we can be cheaper to win the business as a lot of it's under competition.
It seems high figures but on one group you can possibly save 20-30 thousand. Not common.
A normal size group maybe anything from 500 to 5000
I've done way over a million so far.
