View Full Version : So Wenger says that Ospina is the Premier League's best goalkeeper. I wonder what Peter will think

of this.

Look, I believe in the goalkeepers I have, added Wenger. I believe that Szczesny is a very good goalkeeper and Ospina has come in and done a fantastic job. You look at the numbers in the Premier League and who is top of all the goalkeepers and you will see it is Ospina.

Which he probably is

quite a different thing. I am sure if Wenger was offered De Gea or Courtois he would take them. Obviously Peter is in the wrong though

And let's not mention that other sporting stuff from the weekend :-(

only cricket that happened at the weekend of course. Nothing else to see

Can you have a go at Kent

Probably better off doing it as a whole rather than each player individually.

Let's see if it works. tbf Cosgrove is a very good bat - didn't realise he was at Leicester

I didn't realise he was there either, I remember seeing him at Glamorgan , took me quite a while to stop laughing.
I stopped when he started smashing the thing all over the place, still looks a bit like Steve Evans is playing though.

true Peter Cech is a decent goalkeeper and not in anyway better then Ospina - all of these time he had been protected by tightly & coward defense unit so we had rarely seen Cech being expose (the same way goes for John Terry). Plus Cech penalty save record is so weirdly appalling.

I see rumours that Gillespie has turned down a coaching contract down under...

get the director of cricket, manager whatever title they are going for in place - either Strauss or Vaughan would be nice. Gillespie as coach wouldn't be a bad move as the team will basically be Yorkshire plus Cook, Anderson and Buttler soon

Was talking to sw about Gundogan (he wants us to buy him) during which it dawned on me that Javi Martinez should be available and we should get him.
Any thoughts?

for the final time now?

Luis Anaconda

so maybe both :-)

I'm not 100 per cent sure about either's injury record though

Did you see Calhanoglu's free kick at the weekend

than his caution though.

Moores won't go until after the Ashes sadly. Though I don't think he can really be blamed for much that happened in the Windies

It's at the point he is that good/consistent I'd just put the wall on the goal line like they do for a back pass.
Brandt looks a serious talent as well.

II had a small bet on Bayern for the CL, it was after the Porto away leg the price was really high.
Appears to have completely f*cked them.

given that John Terry can still pull off stunning saves with his hands and get away without conceding one he can't have faced many

I think they might get a battering on Wednesday. Quite looking forward to Juve Real though

They make Chelsea look like Brazil 1970, Tevez is still excellent though.
