Not all top footballers are able to drag their clubs up by the scuff of their neck. Some complement already good sides. I would say both Ozil and di maria fall into this latter category.

usual injury problems. Perhaps this is more to do with van gaal and wenger's differing respective managerial styles, rather than the merits of the two players in question.

Perhaps (whisper it quietly) Wenger was too insecure or stubborn to drop Ozil when he was little bit struggling at times.
