Is it purely due to it being the cheapest mode of transport?
Seems international too.
I did my time on buses never again. Only possible for a very short trip in the Oxford street area.

The only problem I find with buses are headphones too loud. But then I mainly walk these days.

the 4 must be one of the most infrequent routes in London.

What's the deal there? Does the idea of lazing around a swimming pool in the sun with a good book not appeal?

and pointless not like it's shorter.
Also sickening words are saying Likkle insted of little and using the word Tummy.

I was having a piss when a weird japanese tourist floated by.
I dont' see why she was there.
She was in the water with a blow up ring around here. massive sun hat sunglasses + arm bands just floating about. If you hate the sun that much probably better avoid Hawaii i'd say.

Far better to just get in the car and drive up the A1 imo.

i am covered in sand. my towel is covered in sand.
I found myself just smoking continuously to get rid of the boredom.
I also dislike sitting in the park for this reason.

I did have some fun frolicking in the sea once on the Pacific coast of Guatemala. But there's nothing like a mouthful of sea water to spoil it. :puke:

No, I can sit down and read a book, but I can do that at home, so I don't see the point in undergoing the hideous discomfort, inconvenience and stress of long distance travel, to just sit there.
A key thing is that I've developed a lot of interest in the place I live (city and country) so don't feel the need to get away from it.

He certainly has a point.
Personally I think that while the UK has a lifetime's worth of interest, it can't quite deliver the sensory, otherworldly experience of foreign climes and that I personally crave.

*Only when they think English people can hear them. If you're not within earshot they speak English, because it's a proper language.
