The fact is only one team HAD to win the game to keep the race for the title alive and we never looked like doing it.

In fact I would go as far as to say it looked like we 'settled' for not losing.

Another bottle job by the man who doesn't give a f**k about trophies as long as he does the right thing for his players.
Good old Uncle Arse, 'he was like a father to me and helped me become the player I am now' said winningtrophies at barca/chelsea/city/utd

Sometimes he gets lucky and amasses a group of players good enough and intelligent enough to compete, most times he doesn't and falls foul of player greed and stupidity.
It's like he gives them a script for a smash hit film, pays for their acting lessons, builds the theatre and sells the tickets but then offers no directing guidance and hopes they'll pull it together themselves on the night.

f**king Gallosocialistsurrendermonkey...

Still, happy days, just the Villa banana skin and the usual dicking at OT and we can all relax for the summer until the CL qualifiers.

did. Didn't really look like conceding either. Happy with a point, secure a top 3 finish and avoid that stupid play-off. Get the 3-4 players required by start of pre-season and fancy next season we'll be right there

And you'd say "Jose wouldn't of did that" or some such.

It's boring, change the f**king record. Get behind the team, which includes getting behind the manager, or f**k off. For our sake and yours.

Different styles of course, not that I am criticising them for how they approached the game which was superbly professional.

I am unsure how in any way at all Sunday can be twisted into a negative view of Wenger.

I wondered how we won all that stuff.

we had nothing to lose in that game, esp with the Everton dicking of utd earlier.
I'd have applauded a bit more ambition to win the game tbh.
As for the rest of your purile ****e why can't we discuss things, this is a f**king forum after all and not a c**ting closed shop of lickspittle ****eaters who gobble up everything arsene, wait, my bad....

I love Arsenal, I support arsenal and I want us to be the best.

That doesn't mean I have to agree with retards like you and not question how we play, team 'tactics' (ahahahahahaha) how we might have done better etc etc.

So why don't you go have a nice cold bath and run a knife up the inside of your wrist, c**t

To simply write if off as not trying is ridiculous.

There is a reason why very good sides are very hard to break down and then score against. The quality of defending, the work rate, the organisation, the tactical framework.

I did struggle with this one all the same.

Ftr I am still quite offended by specific comments of yours yesterday. I am however willing to let it go as I realise emotions were high.

I feel it is only fair however to point out that were I ever to meet you I will kill you dead.

This is very nineteenth century Paris of us, isn't it?

and I don't have any negative feeling toward Chelsea for the way they approached a game they simply didnt have to win.

But I do question why we didnt go all gung ho in the last 20 minutes.

Their defence has been rattled this season by ambitious teams who take them on at pace. Wenger has done it in the past when the result mattered, anything but a win on Sunday makes no real difference. Dropping 1 point by losing when going for the win would not have put us in any more danger of dropping out the top 4 or even 3. I just didnt understand the reluctance to have a Keegan style cgharge at the end, there are times when it's ok to do it (at home to Monaco in the first leg isn't, imo)

as they would have picked us off after the break. At the end of the day a win would have been great but not losing was also important... hence why we didn't go stupid in the last 10 minutes like we did v's Monaco

Here's wishing you cancer in the good old tradition of Awimb.

Introducing Walcott for Coquelin and then Welbeck for Giroud added considerable pace as well as lessening our defensive balance, the thing is Chelsea were able to cope. Yes perhaps we did lack a small bit of creative guile but again you cannot get away from their performance.

We did try, we just did not succeed. No shame there. There is a reason why they are 10 points clear at the top of the league.

Had we gone full charge at the end then I suspect we both know what would have happened and whatever negative spin can be made from Sunday’s draw, another defeat to Chelsea and Mourinho, a victory for them at the Emirates after beating United the previous week, would have seen yesterday being a very different day.

Still Monday, but a different day.

Chelsea 33 77
Man City 34 67
Arsenal 33 67
Man Utd 34 65
Liverpool 33 58

I think we could afford to lose the 1 point a meaningless draw gave us going for a win that would have introduced a modicum of squeaky bum time.

I would certainly rather they go into the game vs Leicester after losing to us rather than all comfy cosy having kept the gap to 10 points.

But that's just me, too competitive for you gentle souls on here

Try not..... do

I just feel, taking Giroud off, meant a different attack point rather than an extra one that might (and I know all this is mere hindsight speculation) have stretched the buggers a bit more. And i believe we could afford to do that on Sunday.

there has to be a limit on how many players you send forward unless you are in the last minute and losing.

1 point can still make the difference between 4th/3rd/2nd so isn't a bad point.

Even if we had won Chelsea will still win the title
