Do you find hotels for business clients? Do they require four-star comforts and amenities in the west end? When can we arrange a meeting?

UK, Germany, Austria and whatever else is left over.

but hopefully I will be doing the otherside shortly and getting the clients in.

Private jets and ****. No more dealing with hotels for me.

I work hard. We all do. But better to work hard at something that can pay off in the long run.

Those motivational videos I watched must have kicked in.

Bull and Gate has just re-opened as a gastro pub. :-(
Still, lots of bands on at the Boston Arms these days.

posh magazines and so on. This requires ridicules amounts of bribery with complimentary rooms and the freeloading feckers still pinch stuff from the rooms. Cnuts to a man and woman, Pat.

Our trade is all business, not tourism. Looks like we're f**ked in July and August.

would only give the planning permission to develop the hotel side of the business under conditions of no advertising.

Cnuts to a man, Jorge. Don't get me started on their little number of digging up road junctions to reconfigure, then digging them up again and putting them back they were before a year later. Happens all the time. Someone's on the take imo. Poor old LA has to pay for it all too. I'm glad I'm over the border in Islington these days.

It's not the most glamorous place in town, of course. But 125 quids! Can't beat that with a ****ty stick.

Only a council would grant a business license with the condition you don't advertise

No advertising that way.

living and that we can't be faceless, humourless bureaucrats. Local Authorities really are soul-destroying institutions. I'm quite grateful that I got turned town by Islington 20 years ago for only ticking 19 out of the 20 boxes. The one I missed was because I had been working on an older version of UNIX than the one they were using. Sums it all up really.

My OH, who runs a school, has to deal with them ALL the time. Mind you, Camden really take the piss given the sheer amount of property they own and manage. That venue in Judd St for starters.

I was just mentioning that I've been picking up rooms at the Strand Palace for 125 a night recently. Remarkable value for the habitual West End drunkard, really.
