I will watch a fair bit of football / sport and up to this week would have tested myself on University Challenge. Save for the odd music based documentary or programme on Sky Arts1 or BBC3 that is it.

That is not to say I don’t casually absorb other programmes but inevitably I am asked to leave the room as I continuously swear at the program and/or pick holes in the story. Last night’s Masterchef being a prime example here.

At least if you over- or undercook something or just make a horrible meal it's in your hands, but making something that relies on tight timings or certain temperatures that you can't control is just stupid.

Greggggg Wallace has actually got worse over time. He's now just a collection of bizarre facial expressions and noises. He's also clearly a massive lecher and probably tries to exact sexual favours for advancement in the competition.

Given his physical restrictions I am quite amazed and somewhat in awe as to how his career has progressed as it has. Staggering.

Even watching him plate his food up in the manner he did was incredible.


He was also borderline livid once or twice which I found endearing.
