It seems to me that democracy should be more important than this. Surely we should vote for the politicians who we believe will create a more successful, safe and secure society for everyone, rather than the lot who are going to make YOUR existence fractionally more solvent?

each child per month, so 1400 kronor per month per child. That covers the monthly cost of daycare with change :hehe:

was to put up a Jewish candidate :hehe:

Truly pathetic.

best interests.

I find anyone voting in their personal interest morally abhorrent.

as in about 75% or so seats it makes no difference what you vote.

Should be PR imo, if the Tory party gets 40% of the votes they get 40% of the seats etc etc.. makes every vote worthwhile

Anyway, you think that's pathetic faith based electioneering? Look at this

Anyway, the pathetic c**ts are the voters who would vote Labour purely because their candidate is Jewish (which I am absolutely certain many of them would)

That is invariably not in the populace's best interests

Government did something similar here a few years back, the last year in Creche before starting school being part funded.

Still more than we get here but only marginally.

Makes f**k all dent in childcare costs all the same.

You for example claim to pay a relative for the childcare and get a rebate on same.

Over here the scheme allows children at government registered and approved creche or pre-school facilities to get the equivalent of 1 day per week or month per free, so basically your costs to the creche are reduced and they in turn get paid by the relevant Govt agency.

I'm no fan of Israel, but you, sir, are a complete and utter c**t. You don't represent any progressive movement I stand for.

I can only speak for here where it was run only through participating playschool or daycare centres.

They also don't take into account how much you earn, so it's the same amount no matter if you earn a lot or little.

They have a thing called large family supplement as well, where if you have two or more children they give you extra. 150kr for two kids, 600kr for three, 1600 for 4 etc....

Are we voting for the chap who will give us an extra 30 quid a week in our pocket, or the chap with the vision to make our society more prosperous all round?

No means testing here either so the richest get the same as the poorest in this respect.

They tried to introduce an option for parents to opt-out if they wished but not sure if it ever happened. Actually it didn't.

Only 1l00 less than I pay, and my two are only in for a half-day on a 4 day week basis.
