of minutes.
I like the way Mike Dean decided he wouldn't book him simply because it was too early in the game.
heading for the league while burley heading back to championship where their small club should be

Dean didn't c**t us over, which is definite progress. The home fans did a good job of trying to ref the game in the first half, and I was amazed that Dean even called the fouls. Compare with Taylor at Stoke in December.

Overall the ref did pretty well. I only screamed at him once.

They're a team with a fine (if distant) history. Immediate emotions aside, save your ire for Stoke.

otherwise I'm sure we'd not have got so many decisions.
On the referee versus Liverpool (Taylor?), I thought he was absolutely brilliant.
for team like that who make such nasty tackles on our great players.. To me their championship team who think their better then they are.

Phil "4-4" Dowd has had excellent games with us too. I hesitate to draw conclusions, but it's almost as if these **** refs can be decent if they want to/put their minds to it.

rarely see any advantage in one's own defensive third.
