Given I've stayed there many, many times for free - it used to be my old work hotel - I couldn't quite bring myself to pay that for a mucky weekend.

I've no idea where the cool places are any more, much like the rest of life really. I will attempt to make a visit, get lost and end up eating burnt-to-a-crisp steaks in an argentinain stake house out by vondelpaark.

Keizersgrach is lovely, mind. Almost as good as Herengracht.
