Eggs don't taste like they used to. The yolks used to have a nice flavour and be thick. Now they are all bland.

These were not the cheap eggs either.

Funnily enough, eating them on the day they're laid doesn't really work; the white doesn't set properly but takes on a slightly jellied texture.

Three 48 hour-old eggs from my girls soft-boiled, mashed up in a mug with butter, salt and pepper, will cure you of any known disease from the common cold to bad face cancer FACT.

Just seem to sell cheese, Pate (That I wouldn't touch but normally love Pate) belts and wallets.

In fact all markets are crap now. When I am in Italy I go one on monday but only to get a massive porchetta roll. The rest of the stuff on sale is crap.

At Barrafina they do a tortilla with Morcilla and serve it baveuse. I can't describe the joy of this dish.

While it is pleasant if the weather is nice there is f**k all Farmer or Farming related to it.

Even the one lad selling Veg simply seems to import it all.
