Any Audiophiles out there that can help me with recommendations on a new Hi-Fi system?

I am currently in the Mrs good books so can buy myself a new toy so I shall be on the hunt for a sparkling new system soon after my return.

It shall be the full shebang with Turntable, Mega Amp, a compact Disc player, wonderfully large speakers and, I suppose, something to play MP3/AAC too.

I know nothing of turntables these days. I'd be inclined to stick with Rotel, I suppose.

I must admit, I am of a mind to lump it all in the hands of one place rather than spend many moons searching reviews etc.

There is also a rather good place in Stratford upon Avon which come to your house to measure acoustics. How cool is that?
