that we will have a hung parliament?
Firstly we have the memory of the mess Labour left the country in the last time it was in power. They have Ed Millaband who everyone seems to agree would make a terrible prime minster. Then we have Ed Balls no comment required there.
The economy, employment down, cost of living not in crisis as we have zero inflation & very low interest rates.
What is it the Tories have got so wrong in their campaign that is not giving them a majority?

Then you have the Scot Nats, who are giving up their self-denying ordinance on voting at Westminster as a sort of revenge for not getting the independence vote. They figure that, having failed to get a majority there, they will instead f**k up our politics to such an extent that we're eventually forced to get rid of them.

Also, The LibDems stopped the Tories redrawing the electoral boundaries (which is the traditional prerogative of any sitting government), so they're still stuck with electoral boundaries that suit Labour.

Surely Milliband won't be our PM, Berni? I really wouldn't like that much :-(

As Berni says there are a lot of people who will always vote for a set party no matter who says what.

Under the Govt a large number of people seem to think they favour the rich, a huge amount of people have had little or no pay rises for 5 yrs (I know it's because of trying to balance the books), so they are less likely to vote Tory than Labour

win every election forthwith (not a good thing). I am surprised Cameron has not used this. I.e. I fought for the union to stay together for the sake of the country even though it disadvantages my own party.

That being policy promised in election manifestos.

They vote simply based on party allegiance perhaps borne from their geography or family background.

It's not really that difficult to grasp.

the cost of living crisis which is simply not true, fuel down, energy prices down, mortgage payments down, employment up.

so they can quite justifiably claim that people are generally worse off than they were before (ignoring the fact that we were in a right mess 5 yrs ago)

Scotland (I certainly would), but they can't be seen to be lobbying for it.

Besides, there is precisely no f**king way the Scots would be stupid enough to vote for independence with oil at $50-60 a barrel. The SNP's (already dubious and extremely optimistic) economic forecasts for independence were based on it being $113 a barrel. :hehe:

Marxism.

A Tory majority is not out of the question.
