Which, I imagine, is a lot.

Don't forget, three or four percent either way could swing the whole thing.

they care?

Even Labour agree with that (well, Balls did a couple of months ago).

But it's OK, because Labour are going to borrow more and spend more to put the country back into the f**king doldrums. f**king lice, the lot of them. Clueless pondlife c**ts.

They're getting on with their lives. Some may be clever. Some may be lucky. Some may be deeply unpleasant; but they're all individuals, and judging them by how 'rich' you guess they are is bigotry, and deeply unattractive.

money elsewhere

Same as big corporations who don't pay much tax in the UK. They can set themselves up anywhere they like.

The UK is fairly attractive for tech companies, because they can get tax breaks on R&D expenditure. I know of a Scandi company who has set up a London office because of this

They are going to increase taxes by 15billion - making work pay less and make sitting on fat, gormless, festering northern arses pay more.

They are going to leave Britain with extra debt payments of 3billion.

Competence or chaos - that's your choice.

Paying a % of higher earnings equates to paying more.

Never really understood this belief of taxing high earners so that they are no longer high earners.

Obviously they didn't plan to borrow that, it was rank economic mismanagement that made them borrow all that extra money. They were supposed to have eliminated the deficit by this year, as it stands they have managed a third of that. Half if you believe their more optimistic than modd projections.

Any adult that has lived in the modern world will know and accept there are loads of different people with different skill sets who deserve to be rewarded accordingly.

For the record I don’t believe they are referred to as “Bin-men” anymore. Waste collection & Recycling Consultants imo.

he should be given a wage hike to allow him to lead a life of luxury.

If you have a job you should earn more than someone on benefits (who should earn nothing if they just refuse to work and have no defendants). However, you should not take money from vastly more skilled individuals in order to pay for it.

The money has to come from somewhere, and it's not coming from my pocket.

Sharp suit, tidy hair etc.

He asked if I had one so naturally I went back to my desk and got one. He commented about this exchange being good as my card had my direct line on it, so kind of awkward after a quick inspection when I told him that the number – and for that matter the address – was in fact that of our old premises that we left about 4 years ago.

The card was in fact utterly useless.

We laughed all the same, kind of.

She endeared herself to me when a girl in the audience started making a massive tit of herself and Josie Long refused to twist the knife. No male comedian would have even thought twice...
