This one is harder, could you not have gone with the AA?

Well not a scam as that suggests you are not getting what you pay for, which you are.

However check your insurance policy as you probably already have full breakdown cover.

The insurance company are not so anal as to have physically looked at the spaces outside of your one property and then to have looked at the curvature of the bend.

They will have profiled the area based on initially your postcode and then perhaps closer again on a thoroughfare level - the number of claims, the type of claims, the average claim payment etc.

Your area will have a risk rating similar to how certain areas of the UK or even London perhaps cannot get insurance due to a previous history or propensity to flood.

They haven't actually sent a Joey round to look at your flat. Numbnuts.

MOT, Tax, and insurance all at the same time.

Plus nobody has money in January.

out and use that as the reason. Mate got that done to him , kept renewing insurance and it was down as garaged..then car got vandalised, claimed, they refused as said he had no garage..

Trust me, it is all wider area based.

Next time you renew your policy tell them you keep the car in your garage and see if they check the outside of your house before responding - "Hold on Sir, our visual imaging software suggests you don't have a garage".

They will do anything they can to avoid a payout, Monty is simply renewing his policy where the person on the phone is asking a few questions and quoting (or in his case he is telling them a new address and they are quoting).

Actually I haven't lied to them.
I have a space to the side of the house in private car park. But there was no way to explain this on the form.

but I have told them it's in a carpark

but they haven't asked me anything all about what type of carpark. So monty need not believe parking on a bend is increasing his price.

Some small print somewhere defining a driveway as being exterior to the front of your property which is why they would classify other options such as underground car parking seperately.

Thankfully Pat's car is likely to never get robbed, the f**king state of it.

It even had the protective plastic still on the mirror on the window blind.

I don't think anybody has ever sat on the back seats either. The back doors are stiff from lack of use. oooh err

If it gets you from Casa Pat to Sainsburys and back every second week and perhaps allows you a small bit of freedom on the weekend then that's all that matters.

I jest in my earlier comment, I am not a car man so if you owned an Aston Martin it wouldn't make any difference to me.
