I have been asked 'What was the last movie I watched?'

'If you were a vegetable which vegetable would you be'

That 2nd one is beyond ridicules. It's tempting to say your mum.

They're susceptible to lots of other types of inane bull****, of course.

How can there possibly be a good straight answer to that?

The movie one I was honest.
DIE HARD.

I am not going to lie and come up with some Artsy crap.
Though I was watching the Bicycle thief the other day.

I will admit that explaining your answer could be tricky.

The printer is too far from my desk. Which leads to less time being at my desk being successful.

It's like 'what is your biggest weakness' 'I work too hard, i don't know when to give up, I am too responsible'

They also asked me how many checkouts they would need in the Clapham branch of Asda to ensure that there were never any queues.

Is there anything better in this world than a well cooked jacket potato generously sprinkled with sea salt on the skin and butter on the inside?

It has to be cooked slowly.

I like to squish them so that the fluffy innards come out. I then mix this with butter, gravy, etc and scoop it up with my fork, leaving the delicious, crispy skin to be eaten as a treat at the end.

The skin should be enwettened with water prior to the addition of the salt, then the spud speared on a metal skewer, the better to carry hotness inside therein.

attempt to eat there between the hours of 12 and 2 on a weekday, I will not be greeted by a ludicrous beardyman telling me there's a 4 hour wait but I'm welcome to enjoy a glass of wine in a jam jar by the bar until a table becomes available?

I suspect that the food may be a little spicy for your palate. I recommend that you eat elsewhere.

I have taken to parboiling the potatoes, cutting them into small cubes and then frying them in butter until golden brown, before mixing in the cream, wine, onions and bacon and topping with the cheese.

thus avoiding the need for a skewer, and then chuck a f**kload of sea salt all over. Once cooked, wrap 'tats in tea towel and apply a sharp karate chop to loosen up the insides. Shovel in as mucb butter as you have in the house.

Sir Charlie of Nicholas

Yes, simply potatoes, onions, bacon, cream, wine and cheese.
