Sunday will always be the cooked variety so leaves little scope for slow release carbohydrates. On occasion I simply have a bowl of Cheerios or usually toast / crumpets.

Anyway, rum for breakfast? Not good. Your father sounds like he is on a permanent stag weekend less the organised activity.
