View Full Version : Hmm, more evidence of our childminder's dysfunctional relationship with the truth

Texted her earlier to ask her to give our son the bits of dried fruit I'd left in his bag. She responds to say she has.

Just found said dried fruit in my pocket.

I genuinely don't know what to do :-(

I've no idea what you're going to do. I just can't see any possible outcome that isn't filled with unimaginable pain.

Just try to be strong and hold on. For what, I don't know... but self-murder is not the answer, although it's the obvious option here.

May your God give you comfort in this difficult time. :-(

with looking after my child three days a week shows signs of being a compulsive liar?

You know full well she lies through her teeth and doesn't feed your child

She tells fibs on occasion? Well so do you, and you're in charge of the ankle-biter sometimes.

f**king hell. First world problems or what? 'Mama, I'm having terrible trouble with the servants!'

she pretty much lies on a daily basis.

she clearly thought it easier to just say yes, maybe she even went and bought some when it wasn't in the bag

in a suitably passive aggressive manner.

For each day they would report that all food was eaten and said kid was in great form.

Not possible.

You need to relax.

I will hold you personally responsible.

You're close to a year at this game now, relax ffs.

If the kid is demonstrably unhappy then unrelax but until then get a f**king grip.

You are subconsciously trying to shift the blame onto your childminder when the fundamental reason your child has no dried fruit is that you stole it.

unfortunately your child will be the loser on this, poor child.
