I notice teams from the lower divisions automatically get home draws in the later rounds, Bielefeld for instance have, how exactly does this work.

and the lower league team always play at home (though I think they can choose to play away) - I assume they keep the system where by a team from the lower leagues get through the they get a home draw. And then Bayern win anyway
