Firstly we will beat Everton this weekend, a comfortable win by a margin of at least 2 goals. Then we will beat QPR and West Ham. We are very good at beating this level of team. On this basis some refer to us as flat track bullies.

The world will again be great and the sun will shine into each person's living room. Those among us who think Wenger is the greatest living human will again rise and hold court, looking down their noses at all others who may dare to hold a contrary view.

Then we may go out of Europe and we're back to the other dark side. The manner of exit may be crucial here, it may yet be a glorious exit.

Up and down, peaks and indeed troughs. That is us that is.


Jan 1 and we are battered by Southampton, the knives are out on the basis of any abysmal performance and we are ****. Lo and behold we then win a few and we are great again, indeed we even beat Man City and a new glorious tactically astute future is heralded.

Then we lose to Spurs and we are **** again.

We then have a lovely run of games and hand out sporting spankings to heavyweights such as Leicester and Palace and we are again great again.

Then Monaco happens.

You can go back further in the season for the same pattern. Losses to Swansea and Stoke, both followed by 2-3 wins and the aforementioned peaks and troughs.

Ultimately? Wenger out.
