beating the mighty UAE with four balls and two wickets to spare! Still I would have thought England wouldn't mind being two wins from two games....

At the weekend though

I suspect England will win reasonably easily if I am honest. Possibly by accident rather than design but I think Lancaster has stumbled on his best back line.

Although at this stage I am just looking forward to tonight's game.

Think Sexton's performance will be key.

That he's better, but more that Lancaster isn't closing the door to other players on that wing, which is probably the only weak spot at the minute.

Lancaster put a lot of faith in him last year so will be good to see him

Sexton will be important but I think Ireland will just aim to play the game in England's half as much as possible (whether with or without the ball.

Its not pretty and I suspect England will have too much guile and just as importantly fitness for this to be too basic a strategy, so unless Joe Schmidt has a plan B (and he might!) Ireland will come up short on Sunday.

Should be a cracking atmosphere though.

Called into the 26 man squad. Looks like him on the wing and Goode at 15 if Brown doesn't clear the concussion tests.

seem pretty sure Nowell is coming in for May. They also seem to think Lancaster will give Mike Brown until Friday to prove his recovery from concussion so I doubt any announcement will be made before then.

Did like the 15 who played for the Saxons against Ireland a couple of weeks back. Very good boot on him
