billionaire-bankrolled clubs.

If only Wenger could make better substitutions and teach them to beat the first man from a corner then those 'Wenger Out' banners could be put away for good.

I can recall silly but hilarious Arsenal TV related tantrums and spats between mentally challenged and club merchandise man.

enough to get close to them, so perhaps it's a little too much to ask that we jump straight from having an inadequate squad to being fully fledged challengers. These things can take a bit of time.

It even took City three years of unparalleled investment to make them champions.

City took 3 years or whatever it was of unparalleled spending as you say but their starting position was that of a much lesser club.

We have been a top 3-4 club for close on 20 or whatever years it is now.

I thought the argument was more that we simply could not compete with the two bankrolled clubs you allude to.

An argument I don’t fully subscribe to myself as we only play those sides a total of 4 times per season, quite often it is points dropped elsewhere, to much lesser teams, than has undone us.

Look at who we have lost to this season, or drawn with. Draws at home to Hull or away to Leicester, losses to Stoke or Swansea. Chuck in a few wins from those and we are challenging.
