written on the cards that appear to the audience so you could argue that a lip-reader gets a bit extra. Actually read an article on it when the Artist was out but can't seem to find it now. I remember that was interesting as actors were conversing in different languages

One of many reasons I don't understand why people get so het up about the Oscars. Shame Grand Hotel Budapest was overlooked in all but the technical awards though
