Asked on BBC Radio 5 ealier tonight what he thinks of Arsenal's season now that they have reached the quarter finals

"Arsenal will finish 4th at best and nothing else, they are a disappointment every year"

He then went on to say that he was responsible for every problem in the arsenal defence today (he didnt say what these problems were, i dont recall any of them) his challenge for the booking was a disgrace and he had had a poor debut.

Total *******s. Thought he looked ok but saw so little of him it is just f**king idiotic to criticise or praise him.

excellent

I just find that many of today's TV / Radio pundits are complete tossers!

And what the hell is Andy Townsend doing on BT Sport?

Took the booking. Cynical? f**k off. That is like calling cazorla's chipped penalty disrespectful. Total bull****.

Apart from that i cant see what he did wrong. He miscrontrolled the ball and conceded a corner. Big deal :hehe:

Errm, 3 goals, 3 assists, 4 games, with the rest obviously doing him good.

Two fine tackles in the penalty area and won pretty much every aerial ball. Solid debut I thought. Only problem I can see is that he is bit too similar to Kos for them to form an effective partnership but as the one accurate thing Nevin said - early days

Was his passing. I kept reading stuff from La Liga experts that were unsure about whether he was good enough on the ball for us but I thought his passing was excellent.

I'll go with this - Sid Lowe isn't the gushing type but this is a pretty positive

His ex-coach probably knows best

“He’s very strong, very fast, good in the air. He’s tremendously dynamic and intense in the way he defends,” Marcelino continues. “He also strikes the ball cleanly, brings it out from the back well, and he can play on both the right and left.”

him, not you

It's just crap punditry, alongside his comment "I fancy Middlesborough to score", no explanation of why or how, just a bland statement.

The bench? Not that it turned out badly against Italy but it feels like you're having to move too many players around.

Preferable than a centre. Someone like Foden I suppose (if fit).

cover for lock and back row. Unless you have a Morgan Parra type who can cover fly half and scrum half you need two specialists which leaves just one player to cover wing/full back and centre (although often the fly half will cover centre. Really should be allowed another sub. Most teams would have someone in there to cover the back three so we were quite unbalanced in that respect. Ideally Foden would have been there. Some nice moves going forward though - even Jonny May looked good at one point
