View Full Version : A few days back I was presented with a lot of 'Unequivocal FACTS' about musicians

Elvis was 'Good' up until Vegas. He then became 'Great'

Genesis only became unlistenable (popular) after the departure of Hackett not Gabriel.

It is not possible to listen to a Massive Attack album without wanting to get stoned, even if it is the first time you have heard one and you have never smoked in your life.

Thunder does happen when it is not raining

Jim Morrison and Kate Bush are the sexiest musicians ever.

Simon carried Garfunkel

There were more, as the conversation went on long into the night and long into the Port reserves, but I cannot recall them all.

I actually go along with the first one.

I watched the BBC 4 special on Friday - the other conclusion that I came to is that Tony Banks is a massive(ly successful) prick.

Did you see the live show? Phil got so bored during the synth solos that he went back to drumming. :hehe:

Indeed Stewart's voice can be heard above the crowd.

Now that's Danny Baker.

Saw him and the violinist a year or so ago playing new stuff. In between every song he had an anecdote. Very amusing

Fine band indeed, great live in their pomp.

I saw the newly reconvened Stuffies in a small venue in Dublin a few years back, minus most of the original members but little one can do when they are dead.

Still a fun evening.

I had some of that MAynard's 30 year old tawny last weekend. Very nice too. Will probably crack open a vintage from the stores for my upcoming Birthday.
